Parking:
Free parking will be available in the lot at the check-in site. Some limited street parking will be available. Volunteers at the check-in site can offer suggestions on where to look.
About WALKATOP:
The hike takes place at the scenic Emerald View Park, Pittsburgh’s newest regional park, on trails featuring beautiful views of the city. We guarantee to provide some of the most stunning urban views in America.
Choose from six different routes to suit your own level of fitness. From a one-mile hike to a 14-mile challenge, select just one or mix and match to maximize enjoyment and exertion. There will be two guided hikes available for anyone who is interested. The hikes will be led by experienced trail hikers. One is a nine mile hike and will begin at 8:30 a.m. The other guided hike is a five mile hike and will begin at 9:00 a.m. The guided tour participants will meet at the registration/check-in area.
